tecnical assistence for the format of my pc

i need to format my personal computer, because of i need
to do it, for security and other problems, i try to use
dos, but i can't use format.for i need to clean the (c
memory. and also the windows configuration, then i 'll
reinstall everithing.

help me please!!

Use your WinXP CD - boot from it, choose setup, delete the existing
partition and create a new one, and reinstall.

Of course you've backed up your data first. ;-)

Simply boot from the WinXP installation CD. You'll be offered
the opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as part of
the installation process. (You may need to re-arrange the order of
boot devices in the PC's BIOS to boot from the CD.)
