Technical Beta

Office 2000 Word and Excel will not open because error
message says "Technical Beta copy of Office has expired.
Install the retail version or obtain an updated beta
release from Microsoft".

Where in Microsoft support do I find the
appropriate "updated beta release.

Hi Byron. I can't help you but you might be able to help
me! Your Post reads as though you know a bit more about
computers than I do. Here's my problem: I just "clean
installed" the Win2K Operating System in my computer, and
I inadvertently chose NTFS instead of FAT32 (whatewver
those terms mean) and now the system refuses to install
the USB-2 Drivers from my Intel Setup disc (in order to
fix the "?" I now see in my Device Manager's window where
it lists USB Devices.

My questions are: 1. Should I have selected FAT32 instead
of NTFS? 2. What's the difference? 3. Am I going to
have problems with any USB devices I connect to my system?

Greetings --

All beta licenses for Office 2000 expired years ago. You'll have
to purchase a retail version of whatever Office version you prefer.

Check on yr mb site for updated Win2K drivers, also BIOS update
NTFS / FAT is the file sys, nothing to do wih drivers.
NTFS allows better security amongst other things
