TDBG debugging library assertion failed!

Can anyone tell me what this error is? The program listed in the error
is vtserver.exe, the module is Devtc.dll, the file is host_usb.c and
the condition is RetBytes>=sizeof(device_descriptor).

Any help or direction anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.
