Dear All

i tried to change teh TCP/IP window size for my server to
benefit from the gigabit ethernet, but when i use the
network monitor to check the window size it say win=64200
or generally less or equal to the limit of 64k, i
configured the parameters as global and the same and teh
scaling option is on too , anyidea how to fix this, and is
the network monitor teh correct tool to check the
tcpwindowsize?

It'll automatically negotiate with whatever connections it'll make.
Don't worry about it.
The Window Size is just a default baseline. As a connection needs a larger
window, it'll 'slide' larger.
If it proves too high, it'll slide smaller.
It's called flow control.
If you make it too high, what's going to happen when you connect to
something that can't handle it?

yes u right, but the servers used in teh test both have a
window size larger then the default one, but they never be
able to reach more then the 64-65k, any ideas!!!
