After a few minutes of utilization, TCP/IP stops working. Perf'd a netsh in ip reset, however, that hasn't corrected the Win XP Pro problem. It seems to work fine a for a few minutes once the adapter has been removed and then reinstalled, but TCP/IP stalls after a few minutes of utilization. Have physically removed and reinstalled the adapater. Any clue
Using: Windows XP Pro - all service packs and updates installed

No... it's a microsoft wireless USB Adapater. I used Systweak Internet optimizer against the TCP/IP setting and since then, tcp stops after a few minutes. If I unplug the usb adapter adn then plug it into another USB port on the hub, tcp starts working again, but only for a few minutes. I have to repeat the process of unplugging and plugging to get a connection back. I ran a netsh int ip reset. it deleted a bunch of stuff, but the problem still seems to hang around.

Did the Sysweak Internet Optimizer (whatever that is) have anything do
with causing this problem? Can you back out whatever change you made?

are you absolutely sure there are no faults with the NIC card? Just
becuase it's a microsoft wireless USB adaptor doesn't mean it's fault free.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

It was SysTweak's Internet Optimizer. The NIC (the usb wireless adapter) was okay. I pulled out systweak and everything returned to normal

Thanks... Slade
