TCP Connections

I have a problem with XP2 in that the limit of concurrent TCP connections is
slopwing down my email. From CMD and netstat -no I see that there are many
open connections for itunes etc. In the event viewer I can see the error ID
4226 clearly shows maximum 10 connections met. This never used to happen with
XP1. If I only have one email, account (IMAP) in outlook its fiune but
anything over that and I get 'cannot connect to server'.
My question: is there a way of solving this by increasing that value from 10
to 100? If so how is thins done. Can nayone help!

I have never had this message ever. However, I have seen this "10"
connection probelm in Windows XP Pro. Windows XP Pro only permits 10
concurrent connections to a "shared" PC. Any chance you have enabled
"File and Printer sharing...?"

Sorry for my post! Found out more details on this. Others have been
getting this for some time now and someone has "patched" it.
