Received this through email today

Hmmm......strange that. I am certainly not due a repayment and just look at the way the letter is constructed. The date is American style and have you ever seen a figure of money in a Revenue letter given as 281.87 GBP? Also there are no reference numbers anywhere.

The sentence structure is weird to say the least, there are several capital letters in the middle of sentences and one instance where lower case has been used where there should be a capital. The whole syntax is peculiar.

And, "we've been notified by HM Revenue and Customs" - I think HMRC would write directly and not send this on to another body to contact me.

I'm sure they are just after details of my bank account so it's been sent to the Very Large Recycle Bin in the sky. :D

Hey, I got another one today.

The usual lack of punctuation and bizarre grammar.

I'm going to be rich soon with all these refunds.
