Tasks...assign to a contact..

Mike

Hello,

When I setup my Tasks using the task manager, I assign a
contact to the task...How come when I go to the task
window I don't see the contact that I assigned it to...

For example...I create a new task subject "Followup to
see if he is ready to sell" Assign the Contact."Joe
Smith"..How come when I view all of my open tasks I just
see the subject "Followup to see if he is ready to
sell"?? I would think that it would tag the contacts
name with the task and show his name/company also...Or do
I literally have to type in "Followup to see if Joe Smith
is ready to sell"....Cumbersome...

thx
Mike

When you look at your open tasks, all you're seeing is the subject. Not the
subject and the contact field. However, you can change your view to show the
contact field. Go to View, Current View, Customize Current View (or View,
Arrange By, Current View, Customize Current View in Outlook 2003). You can
add fields to your Task view that way.
