Tasks arrive as emails

Hi

We wish to send a task to an outside company but when they receive it is
just as an email and there is no option to accept.

I've tried this to another company with no problem.

Can anyone shed some light on this.

I'm having a very similar error when sending tasks from particular
computers. I've verified that they are defaulted to HTML and the
contact is not set to send Plain-text. It appears as though the
"winmail.dat" file is not being sent .

I'd appreciate any help anyone can give...

Outlook 2000 SP3 on Win2K box.
