Taskmanager wacked when AOE2 freezes (Win XP Home)

I normally play Age of Empires 2 online at the Zone,
however, recently it crashed and froze the game. Being a
regular guy, I called up the Taskmanager to shut it down.
After some brief difficulties finding the mouse through
the open windows, AOE2 finally shuts down.

However, my taskmanager is left in a weird state. The
tabs at the top is gone, and I can't even close the
window without logging off.

When I reset my PC, and called up the Taskmanager again,
it was still "tab-less" and I could only close it via the
button in my system tray, I couldn't even view my CPU
usage and loggoff via taskmanager.

I later set on System Restore, and it fixed it.. but when
I went online again, after a few games, it crashed and
the same thing happened!

I use Win XP Home addition, and I was browsing with MSN
Explorer. Please help.

Try double-clicking anywhere in the border of the Task Manager window.
You may have accidentally double-clicked the window before, which disables
the titlebar, toolbar, and the tabs that normally show up in Task Manager.
