for some reason if a users who is not an administrator
will be unsuccessful in launching taskman.exe

Sorry for being so vague after the install of the antispy
software anyone who longs into the computer who is not
logged in as administrator will no longer be able to launch
task manager no matter how the method

Thanks - that's clear, but it isn't something I can test firsthand at the
moment. I can't see why this would be unless it is, in fact, intentional.
If you right-click Microsoft Antispyware and stop the application, can you
then launch Taskmgr.exe from the limited accounts?

This is something I can test at home this evening--so I should be able to
get back to this thread sometime in the next 6 hours or so.

I can stop it but still not able to launch taskmgr would
the installation itself cause some erratic behavior with XP SP2
