TASKMAN.EXE WILL NOT OPEN

Hey my taskmanager will not open, and I cannot figure out how to fix it, make the program executeable open, or restore the file, i may resort to asking someone to send me theyre taskman.exe file, maybe ill get lucky and mine will work, lo

I have discovered that this is one of the main things that the new anti anti virus's are doing, somehow they are disabling taskman.exe so that it is more difficult to shut down the processes that are helping run the virus software. I tracked down the taskman.exe and it will not open when I double click on it, and I have even tried a win xp cd system repair, and this has not fixued the problem, im beggining to think this maybe some registry setting to disable taskman, I really have no clue how to fix this. The virus I had to make this happen was KLEZ virus for which i downloaded some symantec norton quick fix to have it fixed, virus gone, taskman dont work, plz help, you may feel free to email me if you have a viable solution, ~Masonic

shoutouts: Hey Bill, I wish i could use my task manager you helped create, it would be nice.

Virus gone, taskman doesn;t work.

Perhaps this relates to the problem, with more info than you now have...

W32.spybot worm disables NAV, Msconfig, Regedit and Task Manager:

The same symptom is caused due to Klez, Yaha Viruses. It is advisable to run
a full system scan. Be sure you update the anti-virus software definitions.
