Taskbar

Appearance of task bar has changed.....there are two rows of icons - I always
had only one....taskbar height is double what it was before. How do I
restore the taksbar to its normal size? Thanks

The task bar is resizable, like a window. Put the cursor on the edge and
make it turn into a double-headed arrow. Then click and drag it to the size
you want.

If it won't resize, it may be locked. In that case, right click on it and
uncheck "Lock the Taskbar," Then try again.

Also note that if you have toolbars on the task bar on multiple lines, you
won't be able to reduce the task bar size to fewer than that number of
lines. Put all the toolbars on one line first.

Please see my very detailed answer to you in the other newsgroup to
which you posted - I believe it was microsoft.public.windowsxp.general,
but you can do a Google Groups Advanced Search and search for your
name.

I even took the time to "draw" you pictures, so find the post and keep
all posts about this question in one thread - *that* one, not *this*
one.
