Taskbar vanished

Hi,

All of a sudden, a client of mine is not able to see the Taskbar on his
windows desktop. OS is Windows XP.
For some reason, the window key on the keyboard is also not popping up the
Start menu.
Basically, the Start menu can not be accessed.

Does anybody know what may cause this behavior? And, what is the probable
solution for this problem?

Hi,

This generally has to do with display driver updates. In the meantime,
either stop the explorer.exe process via the Task Manager, then restart it
or, try a rollback if this is the case or.....
