taskbar trouble

My taskbar resets to a default setup every time i reboot.
It also does this periodically throughout the day. Why
does this happen and how can i stop it?
Please help.

What do you try to change?
And what is the default setup you see?

Are you on a network? If so ask the network administrator.

I am on a network, and the administrator doesn't have any
idea. Therefore, it isn't anything to do wth that.

The taskbar resets to a two column high tasbar with the
address toolbar and systray on top and the quick launch
and links toolbars on the bottom. I set it to a 1 line
taskbar without the address or links toolbars.

I cant figure out why it keeps reseting.

Something is running either locally (which you should know about) or is
being commanded from the server which the administrator should know
about. Obviously it is comming from a "timer" of some kind as it
switches during the day. You may want to do some investigating as to who
is doing what to the PC.
