I have two drive shortcuts on my taskbar that I continually need to
replace because after a while they stop working and I get this message:
"The drive or network connection that the shortcut 'nnnnn.ink' refers to
is unavailable. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the
network resource is available, and then try again."
The two shortcuts are to the CD-R/DVD drive and my Compact Flash reader
drive. The problem occurs when there *is* media in both drives but if I
access them through My Computer there is no problem. The properties for
the problematic taskbar shortcut exactly matches that of the shortcut
under My Computer. If I create another shortcut to replace the old
problematic one, it works for a while and then fails again.

Any assistance is appreciated.
