Taskbar problems

I got a new PC with Windows XP Home Edition. I went to
the Windows website and loaded all the critical and new
updates. Now I have a problem with my Taskbar.

When I hold my mouse cursor over an icon in the lower
right section of the taskbar instead of it showing a
textbox with the description of the icon, it is hiding
that description BEHIND the taskbar.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I had that problem momentarily. Rebooting cleared it
up. Have you rebooted yet?

Control-panel,start/task bar,task-bar,uncheck,hide when
inactive.
