taskbar problem

i am using windows xp 2002 with sp1.lately i am problem
with my taskbar.i have set it to autohide and set the
taskbar to stay on top of other windows.the taskbar
sometimes do not appear when i move the cursor towards
the bottom page when the page is maximized.sometimes it
appear below the current windows.
please help
