Taskbar double width

I went through this a while back and there were helpful answers, but I can't
remember what worked! However, my taskbar is double width again, and I
don't want it that way. Any help appreciated, thanks!

Place your cursor on the edge of the taskbar, click to resize the taskbar.

Thanks, but the double-arrow dragging approach wouldn't work, if that's what
