Taskbar auto hide problem

Hello,
I have my taskbar set to auto hide itself, as I like to have the the most
possible viewing area available . That feature used to work great, but ever
since I installed one of the most recent windows xp updates, the auto hide
feature 'waits' for me to click my mouse before it hides itself like it used
to do automatically. Anyone have a solution to this little 'inconvenience' ?
Thanks SO much !!

Hi,
Start - Settings - Taskbar and Start Menu - Then click auto hide option
again and re-apply the setting, see what happens.

Another reason, review the updates what you've installed excluding SP2.
If you suspect one of newer hotfixes caused that, uninstall it.

I hope you didn't mention about auto hiding icons in toolbar (right
bottom corner).

Good luck.

Dear kimiraikkonen,
I tried your simple solution, but unfortunately that didn't fix the problem.
I still feel like one of the updates that I installed caused this problem, I
just don't know which one. Thanks for trying to help me.
