Taskbar Appearance

I loaded a new theme onto my desktop and now the taskbar
(at the bottom of the screen) has reverted back to the
way it looks with Windows2000. I tried going into the
display settings and reseting it as the WindowsXP buttons
and stuff but that didn't work either. Can anyone help
me? It's just ugly...
