taskbar and SP 2

After installing SP 2 when I click on an icon on the taskbar the whole thing
disappears for a few seconds. Then when it returns, it's blank, except for
the clock and start button. I have to restart windows to get anything to
show. Never a glich until the old upgrade trick.

Thanks for the link, but I have the exact same problem (desktop "refreshes"
and then most of my taskbar icons in the system tray are gone) and this
utility doesn't help at all. I clicked about every option there is and
nothing helped get my icons back.

In fact, the disappearing icons happened just as I was using the utility....

Any other ideas on how to FIX this problem?
