Task-Status box buttons

My Task box for ending, switching, new task doesn't have the three buttons in
the upper right corner to CLOSE, MINUMIZE or make FULL SCREEN. It is a royal
pain to use without these buttons. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

What version do you have? Is it in English - if it is, what do you mean by
"ending, switching, new Task" buttons in the top right corner?
