Windows XP Home, SP2:
I want to schedule a task to run at LOGON on three days of the week only.
The scheduler does not allow both sets of conditions. Is there ant way round
this?

But no schedule can contain both LOGON and DAY! So even if I only wanted the
task to run one day a week, I would still have to specify a time.

mikeyhsd's suggestions may possible work in Vista, but they do not apply in XP.

I still would like to know if anyone can think of a way - in XP - of
imposing TWO sets of conditions on the Task Scheduler:
1: An event (logon or system start)
2: a time (every Monday or Tuesday)

Is it possible to shut-down an application.
I can start my RSS reader, it updates, and of course stays open.
Is it possible to schedule a task to close this application, at a given time.
i.e. schedule task to start 05:30 daily
schedule another task at 06:00 daily to close the application.?
