task scheduler

anyone know the fix to schedule tasks without getting the
0x8007007a error message? I've already tried the
suggested fix on the support page (open TS and let sit
for 10-15 minutes) with no luck.

Try a reinstall of the scheduler. You reinstall it off

your XP disk and mine said it was a older version of it,
but it works now.
Step 1: Reinstall the Task Schedule Services

1. Click "start" => click "run" => enter "c:\windows\inf"
2. Right click on the "mstask.inf" and choose "install"
(You will be prompted to insert the
Windows XP CD).
3. After reinstalling, restart and check again.
