TASK SCHEDULER NOT WORKING

I am unable to run the scheduled tasks...the message
says "task scheduler not running"...any help will be
appreciated.....thanks...sam kumar

Take a look in Start/Settings/Control Panel/Administrative
Tools/Services and verify that the service "Task Scheduler" is
running and set to automatic.

Also - to run scheduled tasks, you must be logged in on an account that
has a password. If you don't and run XP Pro, go to
Control Panel - Admin Tools - Local Security Policy and at
Local Policies; Security Options, double click in the right pane on
Accounts: Limit local account use of blank passwords. . .' and set as
Disabled
