Task Scheduler Jobs Running Silently

Hi,

I have been using Task Scheduler for many years, but have come across a
strange problem.

I have just started working in a new company and have set up some new batch
scripts to be kicked off by Task Scheduler, and for whatever the reason, the
jobs all seem to run silently i.e. the DOS window does not appear.

I have programmed Task Scheduler before and I think there is a flag which
programmatically controls this, however I can't find a corresponding
interface property to effect this change.

What is strange is that all newly created scheduled jobs seem to default to
this behaviour. I have ensured that I am signed on as the user who I have
set up as the account in which to run the job, but no joy. I'm wondering if
it may be something to do with a Windows Explorer setting.

Any suggestions/advice gratefully received.
