task scheduler is corrupted

when i try to start the task scheduler from the services dialog in windows
xp pro, it says the task scheduler is corrupted and unreadable, error 1392.
is there any way around this?

Hi Rob,

Stop the service. Open Windows Explorer to C:\Windows\Inf, locate mstask.inf
and right-click it, choose install.

Good - I'm glad - it's called karma you shitbag. I hope that the infestation
spreads to the rest of your system and the whole thing spontaneously
combusts and then you're electrocuted. The world would be vastly better off
without parasites like you. I hope that, one day, all the people you've

i tried that...but it still says it's corrupted

Are there currently any scheduled tasks? If so, start deleting them one at a
time and see if it starts working again.
