Task Scheduler Forgets password

I'm running Vista Home Premium SP1.

I have a daily backup task. It works after it has been set up, but
then fails the next day with a "Task Start Failed : Launch Failure"
error from Task Scheduler and Error Value: 2147943726

If I edit the task (right click, Properties) not actually changing
anythig, but pressing "OK" and then re-entering my password as
requested, the task works again then, but fails again the next day,
with the same error. So it seems that it is forgetting my password
after a certain time (or maybe after reboot).

I've googled and found a few similar reports, but no real solutions
(there was one solution, but involved editing group policies etc.
which isn't possible in this version of Vista). Is there a solution to
this?

Paul.

Sorry - can't find the article about changing the Group policy any
more - I didn't bookmark it as it didn't seem relevant to my version
of Vista :-(

Seems crazy that the only solution is to switch off passwords when
Vista seems to make so much claims to be the secure and safe OS!

Paul.
