Task Reminder Date/Time

It would be nice if the default setting for the Task Reminder would default
to the task's Start Date instead of its Due Date. I don't know how other
people feel, but if Outlook is going to help me get my tasks done, it's more
useful for me to get a reminder when I am supposed to start the task in the
first place, so I can get it done before the due date.

If anyone knows how I can change this behavior, I'm all ears. Thank you!
Lucas

Open ears then....

yes you're right Due date is just causing people to do stuff WAY TOO LATE!

Rather than reminders, try setting up the TaskPad in the Calendar so that
you see Tasks based on Start Date. Here's how:

Right click the header of the TaskPad and use the field chooser to add some
useful fields (eg Category, Due date, priority and Complete) Then from the
toolbar: View, TaskPad View and set to Active Tasks for Selected Days. Now
the TaskPad will show you what you have to do based on start date. If I
want to call you in a week, I make that Task Start in a week. The Due date
is the day before it goes Red (in real time).
