BUG: Changing a task date resets % complete

G

Guest

Program: Outlook 2007 public Beta 2
OS: Windows XP SP2

Steps to reproduce:

1) From the To-Do pane, create a new task. Its due date will be set to today
by default.
2) Double click to open the task, and mark it as 50% complete. Save and close.
3) Right click the task, and set the Follow Up date to Tomorrow.
4) Double click to open the task.

Expected results:

Task is still 50% complete but due tomorrow.

Actual results:

Task is 0% complete and due tomorrow.

Ugly. I have filed an official bug report for you on that one.

FYI, if you want to provide feedback on the public preview version of Office 2007 Beta 2, get the Send a Smile tool from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=A2E1F4E2-BC0F-4403-B09F-7A677D55F274. This tool will transmit your comments and a screenshot back to Microsoft. For more information, see http://spaces.msn.com/turtleflock-ol2007/blog/cns!C1013F1F9A99E3D8!135.entry
