Task Pane Issue Excel 2k3

Is there any option that might be used to get rid of the
Task Pane in Excel 2003 ?
 
CTRL+F1
To prevent the taskpane from appearing again next time:
Tools>Options>View, uncheck Show Startup Task Pane
