task manager

hi folks. lost half of my task manager. i get the inner
box that lets me end task or switch to new task, but i'm
missing the outer box with tabs for performance,
processes, etc. i don't have an xp cd by itself, just
the system restore discs that came with the computer.
wha' happened? virus? thanks.

Hi,
Are you seeing the Task Manager window title bar? If not, double click
somewhere near the window border to restore the window and other tabs.
