In Windows Task Manager/ Processes, have numerous .exe
files open. I believe this is why it takes a long time
for my computer to boot up. If this true, how could I
delete some of these .exe files from been active all the
time?

You need to decide what programs you want to automatically start when you
boot the computer.

Go to Start/Run and type: msconfig and press OK. Click the Start Up Tab
and look at the list of programs that start when you boot the system.

Many of these programs can be started manually when you need them. Remove
the check mark from the programs you you don't need to start automatically.
