task manager

just a couple days ago the "processes" button
and "applications" button and "tasks" button on my task
manager disappeared. now when i press control alt delete,
the window still pops up but i can only stay at the tasks
part and i cant end any processes. does anyone know how i
can change the viewing options? or something that might
make this go back to normal? thank you.
