Hello All,

In general, System Idle Process is usually in the high 90's (CPU) which I gather is normal. Only today I noticed that it varies between 77% and 91%, with "System", which is usually negligible, varying between 10% and 22%. Nothing else is running, these figures were noticed just after booting up and before opening any apps.
I ran Ad-Aware (custom settings-took about 10 minutes to scan) Spybot S&D,
CWShredder and a full AV scan, all fully updated. All reported nothing.
Spywareblaster also running.
Could this also be normal or am I being overly paranoid?
I just don't like unexplained changes!

Any views most welcome.

Colin.

Hi Colin,

Could be normal. Try a process watcher like pmon at
