I own a fairly new Dell computer and have never had any problems until now.
I've had some concern about viruses and spyware so I have recently purchased
Webroot Spysweeper and Norton Internet Security. After installing these two
programs, i have noticed that I am unable to task manager and other things as
well such as System Defrag. Has anyone encountered anything like this? If so
I am open to suggestions.

Task Manager, MSCONFIG, or REGEDIT disappear while opening

That's what I've heard but I was talking to tech support last night and they
had me searching for files (such as msconfig.exe, ect.) and the necissary
files were not there. I looked at the link you gave me and none of the signs
of those viruses aply to my computer.
thanks for the help. Do you have any other ideas?
