Task Manager not terminating task.

My Nero 7 is not responding, and I haven't had any success using the Task
Manager to end the application, or the individual processes. Is there an
'Appl Killer'?
 
Thanks. I couldn't even get Vista to Shutdown (it hung up while Logging Off).
Finally had to use the power button. The tutorials look like interesting
reading.
