Task Manager Not Showing in Notification Area

When I open the Task Manager, the little icon does not show. I also
have it set to run minimized when windows opens. The icon again does
not show. How can I fix this?

Try this: right-click a blank spot in system tray and select "Customize
Notifications..." in pop-up menu. In the box this gets, scroll to Task
Manager in the list. If it has "Always Hide" to the right, click on it;
this gets shading around the status with an upside-down triangle. Click on
triangle to get choices, then click on one of other two, whatever is wanted.
