Task Manager is gone!

G

Greg Fine

When I hit Ctrl-Alt-Del, the dialog box comes up that,
among other things, shows a button for "Task Manager".
Normally, that brings up a list of running applications
and processes, and allows selective shutdown of frozen
apps. Now, all I get is a big window showing CPU usage.
And that window can't be closed except by rebooting.

What happened and how do I fix it?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I'm not positive, but it sounds like it's running in "Tiny
Footprint Mode, try double-clicking in the Task Manager
window to restore it to the normal display.
