Hi,

I have three instances of iexplore.exe running in my processes list, despite
not having run iexplorer. If I stop the process they just return. This does
not happen on any of my other computer, is this normal?? if not how can I stop
it.

Thanks

No, it's not normal, and you almost certainly are infected by a virus.

I have run Norton ant-virus / Counter Spy and Spyware Doctor, but nothing
shows up. Do you have any advice please.

Thanks

Avast! has a Bootscan option that will check for the malware it catches
BEFORE the malware can take control and disable your protection.
Although I've heard other av software will do that, I haven't found the
option in McAfee nor in AVG.

Cyberdog might also want to run one of the online anti-virus apps like
this one: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Thanks, I will give that a try now.

Despite running all security software that I have, I still can not get rid of
these three iexplore.exe instances in processes's. Could I just run regedit
and delete all iexplore.exe that I find. Then re install the genuine internet
explorer after I have sorted the problem out.

Thanks
