Task Manager 'disabled'

Cntrl+Alt+Del yields a message that the administrator has disabled
task manager. I'm the administrator and did no such thing. I've
perused the MS XP website and can't find how to ENABLE it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The internet is a fabulous tool only surpassed by the selfless,
dedicated and extremely talented, contributors such as yourselve.
Thanks to both of you on behalf of my wife who ranks getting her 'Task
Manager' back as being more exciting than her trip to Hawaii!!!!!!!
