Task Bar Problem

My taskbar went from the bottom of the desktop to the top, without any
intent on my part to move it. The "Lock the Toolbar" is not checked
and when I attempt to drag the toolbar to the bottom of my desktop, I
get a "window shade" about 1/2 of the desktop.

BTW, I am using Mozilla but I do not see why that would contribute to
this problem. Any help from the group would be appreciated.

Unlock the Taskbar, drag it to the left side of your screen,
then drag it to the bottom of your screen.

Although by default the task bar appears on the bottom of the
screen, it can be on any of the sides you prefer it on. To move
it from any side to another, simply click on an unused part of it
and drag it where you want it. You're apparently clicking on its
*edge*. Be sure to click *within* it, not on the edge; clicking
on the edge and dragging will resize it

The Taskbar had not been locked when the problem first occurred and was
not locked when I tried to rectify the problem. I have tried dragging
the taskbar(mouse pointed to middle of bar where there are no icons) to
the left side without success. Should I return to the default or do a
Restore? If default is recommended as the best solution, what is the
command protocol?

Thanks, Carey and Blake, for your assistance.
