Task Bar HELP!

when i log into my username (windows xp) the only thing that pops up is my
mouse and the back ground, my task bar and my desktop items are all gome and
if i press ctr,alt,del and going to my desktop folder everyhting is there but
it wont let my drag and drop the stuff onto my deskt top. its ok if i cant
get my desktop items back but i REALLY want my task bar back. is there a way
i can go into the windows folder and run a program to get my taskbar back up
or sumthing? PLEASE HELP!!!

Right-click Start, properties, taskbar tab, clear "Auto-hide the taskbar."
