Task Bar Height

My Task Bar is twice its normal height, probably because of something I did.
How do I reduce it?

put your curser on the very top edge where it changes its look and then
click and drag it down to the normal size.

Thanks

Hi Bernie,

Right click it, make sure "lock the taskbar" is not checked. If it is, click
it to uncheck it. Then place the mouse at the top edge of it, it should turn
to a double-headed arrow. Left-click and drag it back down.

You may have pulled the faint hatched 'handle' right of the Quick Launch
area so far right that it has jumped down to the lower level. Look for
it there, under the right side of Start, and drag it bak up and half
right, and things should jump back. Then adjust it left as needed
