target="blank" - target="self"?

I discovered, once again, randomly and for some unknown reason,
some web pages I've designed with the navigation menu coded to
open the links in another browser window (Using IE6) works
sometimes then suddenly changes itself and opens in the same
window. I was wondering if anyone else had ever had this
problem. When I changed the code from target="blank" to
target="self" it seems to fix it for awhile then I have to switch
it back at a later time when it quits working again.
Very strange behavior....?

Tim,
I see in the smit of code that you posted that there is
no "underscore" in front of the "blank" or "self"... If you
have them there ie: target="_blank" it should work..
