Tapping Enabled

Can anyone tell me how to permanently disable the tapping feature on my
touchpad? Every time my computer is restarted, the "tapping" feature is
enabled and I have to explicitly disable it. Thanks.
 
There may be something in your notebook manual, but since it would probably
be specific to your actual model, it's easier for you to look than us.
