when i run tap.exe i get devices.pmq file . Then i import this file to
component designer and then to Component database manager.

My question is Do i need to manually include device drivers on run-time
image or evrything will be taken care by component designer when i import
..pmq file..

I cannot play songs in windows media player..error is Bad soundDrivers.

should i include any driver components related to audio..??

Embedded_msit,

All drivers that are currently in your XP Embedded Database will be included
when you import your .pmq file into CD. Any device drivers that are not in
the XP Embedded database should be componentized and added to the database
before you import your .pmq file. This will be the easiest way to make sure
that all proper drivers are being loaded. If your not sure if your missing
drivers, when you import your .pmq file check the log to see if there are any
errors or warnings. This will usually tell you what driver you are missing.
