Proves again, there is no such thing as a dumb question.

BTW, that was Avast! Antivirus as part of the question, just in case someone
thought to look for "vast!" on the internet.

Allen,
I have heard some people swear that 2 anti virus programs are better than
one, yet whenever I have tried it (and the already installed program was
Norton in both cases) the hard drive has ground and ground away to itself
with a noise that would drive you to distraction.
Since then, I've decided one is more than enough, providing it's kept up to
date.
