My friend was talking on MSN Messenger and listening to music and then in a
split second I told my friend to go to a cool website, and when he was about
to click on Internet Explorer, it just shut down. I tried lots of things to
try to make it turn on... even turning of the main power and turning it back
on again. I have it on memory for power failure so that it turns on again
when the power goes back on. So I know it tries to turn on when I flip the
switch back on. My dad won't let me plug my hard-drive into his computer and
boot up using his, so I can check with Norton Anti-Virus if it has boot
viruses. Do you think you could help me with this problem? if you could it
would well be appreciated because I have school stuff on it that is overdue
now.

Thanks,

P.S. I am using my dad's laptop right now so my computer isn't fixed!

(correction on grammer)

and now my dad told me why. it is the power source (you will get power, just
you can't start up). Never get a CPU fan with this name on it (my dad's was
the same one and he changed his in the wintertime): 'Thame Star' . I suggest
that if you have one with that name (you will find the name on the lefthand
side of the CPU FAN. If your's is that brand, what is a good use for it is
puting dents in the wall!

i cant find my last reply, only that I found out why and it is Thame Star's
CPU fan. If you have a fan with that name in your computer, use it only for
making dents in the wall! ;). Hope this helped you more than it helped
me.....you get it ahead of time and I got it late.
